We are David and Deborah (Debbie) Stone-Musick. We have been married 32 years. I was born in Oildale, California near Bakersfield on August 18, 1949, and Debbie was born in Tyler, Texas July 4, 1958. In 1969 I joined the military for 4 years, during the height of the Vietnam war. I served as a Medic and LVN for 30 years. I’m now retired from Military service and work as a Nurse at a local hospital. When I met Debbie I thought she was a dream. Four months later I married her. She was 20, I was 29. That was August 4, 1978. When I went back on Active Duty we moved to Virginia Beach, Va. in March 1980. We had one child then, Mia. We were both away from God and living in the center of self. Then in June 1980 God had other plans for our life. An arrow went through our heart and we gave our whole life over to the living God.
My tradition was Assemblies of God. Debbie was not raised in “Church”. I was a Gospel singer and was studying for the ministry, before my world fell apart and things changed. But what we see as failure, God sees as opportunity. You see, God wanted us to have a limp. We had nothing in ourselves to offer God, so as to say to Him “See what we are for you and your kingdom; look what we can do for you?” God is jealous in that way, He gets the glory for all things. When we spoke with our mouth’s the words; ”It’s either all the way Jesus, or it’s not at all”, We had no idea what we had just gotten into.
Debbie and I both gave our heart, mind and soul to God that day in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1980. We have 10 (Ten) daughters. I had three daughters before we married; then Debbie and I had 7 (seven) together of our own. We are Independent Minister's of the Gospel and we are not seminary trained, we have not been ordained by human decree, nor are we licensed to preach by any denomination; that opportunity has never arisen. We write and minister when God brings a Word to our heart's. We desire to lift up the LIVING GOD before men who want to know Him as we also do. My beautiful wife Deborah and I support each other. She is a gifted photographer, blessed by the Holy Spirit in prophetic preaching and she is my best friend and partner wherever life takes us. We also have some great son-in-laws and our grandchildren are amazing. We love all fourteen of them. It is our desire that what is written and what is read will minister to you and bless your hearts in Jesus Holy Name, and lift you up.
