THE LIFE OF AN OVERCOMER
RISE UP AND WALK
(By Debbie Stone-Musick)
"Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him (Jn. 11:9-10.) "Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth" (Jn. 12:35).

"My heart is full, O God. Break in upon this broken man and illuminate the light that I have. Cause me to remain contrite in spirit and heart preferring you alone above and beyond anyone or anything else. Without your Hand extended I am but nothing. Let not my ambitions, goals, desires or stirrings become reality without being rooted deep within the designs of my God. You alone are my hiding place, you alone are my shelter, you alone are my rain in the dry season, you and only you alone, are my rose in the midst of thorns. Without the Lamb of God, I am but a mouthpiece void of words, a stranger wandering in search of a friend. My soul would search out your Word and embrace the Life of its content. Touch me, O God, and I shall live, kiss me with the kisses of the Son and I shall find life in the midst of death." Amen.
Darkness and death grow strong in the earth, but my God, He is a faithful God and His Light outshines the black cloud that looms upon the earth in this hour. Even though sin has reached forth its dreadful claws of sickness and death we, as children of the most High God, now have the power to become the sons of God due to the magnificent power of redemption. Jesus Christ, the first born among many brethren, has freed us from sin and death through his death, burial and resurrection. Praise God! The Truth has set us free! Jesus had faith in God the Father to raise Him from the dead; for without faith it is impossible to please God" (Heb. 11:6). Let us not just peer into the Kingdom of God, but let us enter covered in the Lifeblood of Jesus Christ our Redeemer and let us overcome defeat by submitting to the King of Kings. Let us become a "Son of God," a "Manchild" born from above. In the Greek the word “Manchild” simply means "a son who has the roots of a cedar tree, ie: (the tenacity.)"

Let us be transformed into His image beloved and become victorious within our life. Let us look to the author and finisher of our faith, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Only as we sink lower at His glorious feet will we be able to rise higher into His Holy Presence; for submitting to God will always bring us deeper and higher in the faith of the Son of God. Our faith grows as our own abilities dwindle in the presence of the glory of God. So, my brothers and sisters, let us live and continue in the glory of God and bid farewell to our own tactics giving way to the glorious ways of God. It is not enough to know the acts of God for anyone can know His acts. Dear people, we desperately need to know the “Ways of God”. Only then shall we be well pleasing to God the Father. In the book of Psalms, Chapter 103:7, it says, "He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel." An "ACT" in the Hebrew means "an exploit of God," while "WAYS", translates to mean "a trodden road, a course of life, to thresh, to walk."
Are we merely seeing or even doing the exploits of God in this hour? Or are we trodding upon the same road of life that Jesus trod before us. Are we standing upon the threshingfloor enduring or do we still become enamored with signs and wonders of God? The acts or deeds of God do not set us free or even bring us life, they are merely a steppingstone into something far greater and far richer even the life of the Son of God. Our walk should become so much a part of us that it does become a course of life. I do not desire the acts of God alone. Of course they can be amazing and magnificent but without being rooted and grounded in the love of God, they are empty and void of the blood of Calvary without becoming one with Him. Many want the power of the Acts without the responsibility of the walk. His blood must become our blood, His life must become our life, His Father must become our Father, His faith must become our faith, and His ways must become our ways. Let us rise up and walk
