THE MANCHILD COMPANY - TRAVAILING UNTO BIRTH

TRAVAILING UNTO BIRTH
(ISAIAH 66:7-11)
(By Deborah Stone-Musick)

God is longing to hear the travail of a woman in this hour. Throughout the earth there is a need to be birthed. There is a need to become intimately acquainted with the ONE in whom we have to do.

There have been times, during the course of my Salvation experience, where I have felt like Ephraim, the unwise son who refused to come forth; (Hosea 13:12-13). A cake unturned, (Hosea 7:8); being extreme in one area, yet deeply lacking in another. I realize my deep need for God; a real need of balance in my life, thus lining me up with God's Word and enabling me to walk in what I see. Without balance we cannot walk in what we see for we waver in faith lacking substance. Balance brings roots to our walk thus giving us depth; and only our faith in Him can add to that depth.

In Isaiah 66:7-11, God speaks comfort and encouragement to us concerning our present state of labor. "Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child". To me this speaks of a confident hope and trust in God Himself knowing that He will surely bring to pass those things in us that He so desires. That Holy seed will indeed come forth in a people whose hope and trust are firmly established in the Lamb.

"Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." As soon as Zion travailed she brought forth; have we seen or heard such things beloved? In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye we shall be changed. Changed into what? The Manchild, (Revelation 12), the very image of our beloved Christ; changed into the image of the Firstborn of many brethren, the beloved of the Father. But only if we are espoused unto Him will we qualify for this birthing. Only if we remain faithful to our espousal will we qualify to emulate our Savior. Christ is beckoning us into the Holy of Holies. Shall we be cleansed by His precious blood and follow the Lamb or shall we remain dirty by our own good works and remain on the outskirts of glory? Let us humble ourselves and allow Him to lift us up into union with Him.

"Shall I bring to birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God." Our God is a God of His Word. He is not a man that He should lie (Num 23:19). His promises to us are deeply rooted in Truth, Hope and Love. If He has called you, beloved, then your life will be full of suffering and anguish of soul until you yield yourself wholly unto Him. Let us yield unto Him in the Spirit of Truth; not by the efforts of our un-tempered wills or self-seeking religious motives; but by the Blood of the Lamb. Let us allow the travail of birth to bring forth one created in His own image; a true son of Israel, a true worshiper, a true son in union with LIFE.
