SONS OF GOD ARISE!

SONS OF GOD ARISE
(By David S. Musick)
“Arise shine for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon thee and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising” (Isaiah 60:13)

'Then Jesus spake saying; I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of Life” (John 8:12)

“Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on HIM that sent me. And He that seeth me seeth Him that sent me. I am come a LIGHT into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness” (John 12: 44-46)

“God was IN CHRIST….RECONCILING the world unto Himself” (2Cor. 5:19)

Jesus Christ is Lord. He is the Messiah, The Anointed One of God. He is the center of God’s will for the ages. He is the Salvation of All Creation and ALL THINGS are found in Him. The Blood of His atonement sealed, forever, the Father’s Will and purpose for all mankind. From His attributes issues forth His Will. His will denotes His Character. His Will is His pleasure, His inclination and His disposition. His purposes are His intention and desire for His people. God’s pleasure, intention and desire are to bring many sons into Glory through Jesus Christ the PATTERN SON that the Father’s attributes may exude from His people and that in His people He may be glorified through Christ as well. Let us read Hebrews 2:10: “It was clearly fitting that God, for whom and through whom ALL THINGS exists, should in bringing many sons to glory, make the leader who delivers them perfect through suffering.”

The Amplified Bible says it this way:
“For it was an act worthy [of God] and fitting [to Divine nature] that
He, for whose sake and by whom ALL THINGS have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect [should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest] through suffering.”

By Christ and IN CHRIST we are enabled and empowered by the Holy Spirit to become, through faith, sons of God and enter into His Glory in the here and now (John 1:12). This is Divine Fact. That which is Divine cannot be seen by earthly men whose lives are blind to the realm of the Kingdom. God’s intervention for man’s dereliction is the Blood of His own Son. To eat His Flesh and drink His Blood points to the necessity for intimate fellowship and relationship with the Living God through Jesus Christ. The Metaphysical implications of, eating His Flesh and drinking His Blood simply means; to take Him in. It is ‘Partaking’ of Him, His substance and all that He is. It is not literal, it is spiritual. And this is done by way of the Holy Spirit which empowers and brings one into the Christ filled Life. This Walk in the Spirit is a Walk into the Kingdom. It is the Walk of the “Overcomers” who are IN CHRIST. This intimate fellowship with Jesus is so close, so finely tuned, that the
believer’s own life is SWALLOWED-UP in His. This is not a walk of lip-service. To be “CHRISTIAN” is to be Christ-like. That is what Christian means in the Greek! Christ-like. Like Jesus. ANOINTED!! It is to be IN CHRIST.

To agree in principal to some philosophical aspect of Christian ideas, concepts or thinking does not make one Christian. To be Christian is to follow Him withersoever He goeth. To be Christian is to be washed in the Blood, reconciled to the Father, redeemed, forgiven and walking in “NEWNESS OF LIFE.” To be Christian is to “Die Daily” to the self-life, to “take up your cross and follow HIM. “If any man will come after me, LET HIM DENY himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23). It does not mean self-flagellation, (spiritual or otherwise); it has nothing to do with being in poverty, wealth, or material influence. Being Christian does mean that we embrace the Cross of our circumstance, and let the Spirit do His perfect work in us. What it does mean is “that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and PERFECT WILL of God” (Romans 12:1-2).

“Except ye repent ye shall all perish” (Luke 13:3-4).

“Except a man be born again, he cannot SEE the Kingdom” (John 3:3).
“Except a man be born of the Water and the Spirit, he cannot ENTER the Kingdom” (John 3:5).

“Except ye eat the Flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His Blood, ye have no life in you” (John 6:53).

The word “Except” is used 74 times in the King James Version of the Bible. In the case of the previous four scriptures, it means, (According to Strong’s Concordance):

“Unless, before, but, (if+whosoever) not. In order (or so), that not.”. Except a man does thus and so, God will not do this or that. God says “If you’ll this I’ll do that for you.” WHY? Because, for you and I to respond in an attitude of voluntary obedience to the Will of God subjects and subordinates our will to His and He is then free to move on our behalf because we believe He will. Therefore we have had and exercised FAITH toward Him. God waits for man to move toward Him so that He can respond to our little faith and open us up to the EONS in the Kingdom and give to us His Faith. God always waits for man to move toward Him. This is why it is called “The Walk of Faith.” When man moves toward God in faith, God apprehends us into deeper depths, higher heights and fuller Faith. It is a process starting with conversion. Word begets Word, from Faith to Faith and Glory to Glory. It is a walk of active Faith, moving toward the Fullness In Christ. “IN CHRIST” is in the Kingdom. It is the life of the Overcomers (Revelation chapters 2&3). Moving into the Kingdom is being born of the “Water and the Spirit”; bearing your cross; dying to self; putting off the OLD, and putting on the NEW:

“That ye put off…” (Eph. 4:22).
“..be put away from you..”(Eph. 4:31).
“Lie not seeing ye have put off…” (Col. 3:9).
“Endued with power” (Luke 24:49).

(Enduo: “In the sense of sinking into a garment; to invest with clothing; array; clothe; have; put on”). God puts this power in us, by the Holy Spirit infilling, so that we may ‘put off and put on and take up.’ By the Spirit we are enabled to put off areas in our life that are anti-Christ, against God and full of self. This requires violence to the self-life. Even after we are saved and we know we are redeemed; we find areas of the old man trying to lay claim and rise up and resurrect old territories of the mind in order to re-infect the heart. But thanks be to God, we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. The deeper we go into God the more of the self is uncovered. The more we walk into the Kingdom, the blacker the midnight because it is a walk of exposure as well.

“The Kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matt. 11:12).

“The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:20-21).

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me [what part of us denies Him?] before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth [this earth that is you and I as well as the world]: I came not to send peace, but a sword” (Mat. 10:32-34).

“He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it” (Mat. 10:39).

“The Word of the Lord is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit” (Heb. 4:12).

So there is violence involved in apprehending the Kingdom of God; and that violence is to the taking of the whole man for God. Giving of the whole man to the Divine purposes and Will of the Father by Jesus Christ is how your mind and heart are fully caught-up into Him. Your feet are on the earth, but your mind is stayed on Christ. When God is involved, you are truly taken up. When the high-flying intellect is involved on its own under its own power, one finds oneself in dark places. The mind of man must be saved; (i.e.), transformed into His mind
.
“Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus (Phil. 2:5). “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind” (Eph. 4:23).

“Gird up the loins of your mind” (I Pe. 1:13).

“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God”(Rom.8:7).

“Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings (from within us) which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the Mind of the Spirit” (Rom. 8:26-27).

In His mind we begin to view all things from His perspective. Babylon cannot touch this revival of the mind; this ascension experience of the heart into Divine Life. The protagonist of this Walk, strangely enough, is the Pharisaical Order of the Church-world; the Doctors of the Law, and other religious entities that are outside of Christian thought. They are “Whited sepulchers full of dead mens bones” (Mat. 23:27). They are the Doctors of Religious Studies and, for the most part, (in almost every case), they will try to crucify the Life of Christ within through skepticism, intellectualizing and undermining the full-gospel within most believers. These are the Doctors that look for commonality in all major earthly religions of the world to find a common ground, to prove religion has a common source. Religion may be common, but Christ Jesus is not. His source is the Father. It is and shall forever remain “Christ in you the hope of Glory” (Col.1:26-27).

Beloved Brothers and Sisters, Christ shall indeed arise with healing in His wings and prove Himself strong within and on behalf of those He has chosen; “For many are called but few are chosen” (Mat. 20:16). This Walk into the Kingdom of God is not a Religion. It is, however; the life of Christ within that sets us free from the law of sin and death, (Rom.8:2).

God invested everything in the Son and the Son won the day through His vicarious work on Calvary’s Tree. When we embrace Christ Jesus then the results of the Father’s investment in His Son becomes our own. When one embraces Christ Jesus; then RESURRECTION LIFE becomes His reality in us now in this resent situation. You share in the Glory of Christ with Him now, (John 17). You share in the Father’s investment. There is no other way into the Father’s throne room but through Jesus Christ. He is Messiah. He is Elohim.

(from an internet study of the names of God):

['ELOHIM' (or Elohay) is the first name for God found in the Bible, and it's used throughout the Old Testament over 2,300 times. Elohim comes from the Hebrew root meaning 'strength' or 'power', and has the unusual characteristic of being plural in form.
In Genesis 1:1, we read, 'In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth.' Right from the start, this plural form for the name of God is used to describe the One God, a mystery that is uncovered throughout the rest of the Bible. Throughout scripture, Elohim is combined with other words to describe certain characteristics of God. Some examples:
Elohay Kedem - God of the Beginning: (Deuteronomy 33:27).
Elohay Mishpat - God Of Justice: (Isaiah 30:18).
Elohay Selichot - God Of Forgiveness: (Nehemiah 9:17).
Elohay Marom - God Of Heights: (Micah 6:6).
Elohay Mikarov - God Who Is Near: (Jeremiah 23:23).
Elohay Mauzi - God Of My Strength: (Psalm 43:2).
Elohay Tehilati - God Of My Praise: (Psalm 109:1).
Elohay Yishi - God Of My Salvation: (Psalm 18:47, 25:5).
Elohim Kedoshim - Holy God: (Leviticus 19:2, Joshua 24:19).
Elohim Chaiyim - Living God: (Jeremiah 10:10).
Elohay Elohim - God Of Gods: (Deuteronomy 10:17).
'EL' is another name used for God in the Bible, showing up about 200 times in the Old Testament. El is the simple form arising from Elohim, and is often combined with other words for descriptive emphasis. Some examples:
El HaNe'eman - The Faithful God: (Deuteronomy 7:9).
El HaGadol - The Great God: (Deuteronomy 10:17).
El HaKadosh - The Holy God: (Isaiah 5:16).
El Yisrael - The God Of ....Israel: (Psalm 68:35).
El HaShamayim - The God Of The Heavens: (Psalm 136:26).
El De'ot - The God of Knowledge: (1 Samuel 2:3).
El Emet - The God Of Truth: (Psalm 31:6).
El Yeshuati - The God Of My Salvation: (Isaiah 12:2).
El Elyon - The Most High God: (Genesis 14:18).
Immanu El - God Is With Us: (Isaiah 7:14).
El Olam - The God Of Eternity (Genesis 21:33).
El Echad - The One God: (Malachi 2:10).
'ELAH' is another name for God, used about 70 times in the Old Testament. Again, when combined with other words, we see different attributes of God. Some examples:
Elah Yerush'lem - God of Jerusalem: (Ezra 7:19).
Elah Yisrael - God of Israel.(Ezra 5:1).
Elah Sh'maya - God of Heaven: (Ezra 7:23).
Elah Sh'maya V'Arah - God of Heaven and Earth: (Ezra 5:11).
'YHVH' is the Hebrew word that translates as 'LORD'. Found more often in the Old Testament than any other name for God (approximately 7,000 times), the title is also
referred to as the 'Tetragrammaton,' meaning the 'The Four Letters'. YHVH comes from the Hebrew verb 'to be' and is the special name that God revealed to Moses at the burning bush. 'And God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM; and He said, thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, I Am has sent me to you... this is My eternal name, and this is how I am to be recalled for all generations'' (Exodus 3:14-15). Therefore, YHVH declares God's absolute being - the source of everything, without
beginning and without end. Although some pronounce YHVH as 'Jehovah' or 'Yaweh,' scholars really don't know the proper pronunciation. The Jews stopped pronouncing this name by about 200 A.D., out of fear of breaking the commandment 'You shall not take the name of YHVH your God in vain' (Exodus 20:7). (Today's rabbis typically use 'Adonai' in place of YHVH.) Here are some examples of YHVH used in scripture:
YHVH Elohim - LORD God: (Genesis 2:4).
YHVH M'kadesh - The LORD Who Makes Holy: (Ezekiel 37:28).
YHVH Yireh - The LORD Who Sees/provides: (Genesis 22:14).
YHVH Nissi - The LORD My Banner: (Exodus 17:15).
YHVH Shalom - The LORD Of Peace: (Judges 6:24).
YHVH Tzidkaynu - The LORD Our Righteousness: (Jeremiah 33:16).
YHVH O'saynu - The LORD our Maker: (Psalm 95:6).
The Lord Revealed in YHVH is the Lord Revealed in Yeshua (Jesus). The LORD who revealed Himself as YHVH in the Old Testament is revealed as Yeshua (Jesus) in the New Testament. Jesus shares the same attributes as YHVH and clearly claims to be YHVH. In John 8:56-9, Jesus presents himself as the 'I AM.' When challenged by some Jewish leaders regarding His claim of seeing Abraham (who lived some 2000 years earlier), Jesus replied, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.' Those Jewish leaders understood that Jesus was claiming to be YHVH. This is clearly established when they tried to stone Him to death for what they considered blasphemy under Jewish Law. In Romans 10:9, Paul declares, 'if you confess with your mouth Yeshua as LORD... you shall be saved.' Immediately thereafter, in Romans 10:13, Paul backs up this declaration by quoting the Old Testament, 'Whoever will call upon the name of the LORD (YHVH) will be saved' (Joel 2:32). Calling on Yeshua (Jesus) as Lord is the same as calling Him YHVH, because Yeshua (Jesus) is YHVH (LORD), the Messiah foretold throughout the entire Old Testament.] (end of study).

No man comes to the Father but through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Not through dogma, credos, pet doctrines and not through outlandish claims of the pseudo church and their Babylonish mixture and quasi spirituality. It is only trough Jesus that we are made partakers of the Father. He is the Alpha and Omega.Man’s own highly regarded opinion concerning God and the deep things of God does not change the fact of the Word. The Word of Life is “Rightly Divided” and understood in the Light of Life and of Divine Revelation by the Holy Spirit. God’s Word will not be revealed to the hard heart, the haughty intellect or the degenerate soul. Unless God call him, that unredeemed man will remain in his own corruption and unenlightened state of death and he will suffer loss. God does not operate in the realm of double standards, opinions, enlightened self interests, second chances or doing what is good. He operates in the realm of Divine Life. “Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). In Christ we are partakers of Divine Life, the Divine Nature (2Pe. 1:3). In Christ we come into Holiness. It is always IN CHRIST, it is always according to His Divine Power that He gives; and He gives All Things that pertaineth unto Life and godliness through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Sons of God Arise and be partakers of HIS Divine Nature.
